Improved front license plate bracket?

We stopped at our dealership today because their website showed that they had a 2 door on the lot. It was in the sold row but I noticed the front license plate bracket wasn’t as horrible as the factory one. Maybe they improved it? Or the dealership had these on hand? Either way this one isn’t too bad, it doesn’t cover any part of the grill. I think I can live with this one!

I believe the difference in location depends on the bumper. The steel modular bumper puts the plate mount higher.

Wait a min, are you saying that they put the front license bracket on from the factory? I thought the dealership usually installs it. I was planning on contacting the dealership to specifically not install it

Without a doubt, these are a tremendous improvement over what Ford has conjured up. Well worth the money, and will fit the standard bumper with a couple of holes drilled.

Don't forget to also add a license plate to both recovery hooks, for a more "in your face my-vehicle-is-registered" effect

@HBTFD's front mount is awesome. Can't wait to install it one day on my Bronco. Also easy enough to remove if I need the extra clearance.

On the plastic bumper no license plate is going to survive serious off roading. The plastic or fasteners will fail before the bracket. With a set of wing nuts removal takes less than 60 seconds.
