So how about a Soft top option for WT? I think at this point I'd switch even though I really wanted a MIC

I still don’t understand with technology and logistics these days why we can’t order both and have them ship the hard tops at a later date. The cost to delay ship will be minimal compared to cost of pissing all these people off. Plus they already gave 1k fir the delay. How about they should have never done that, allowed people to approve a soft top with delayed hard top (which they could bulk ship to minimize cost and set of regional pickup), oh and allow us to pay for the wiring and Ford factory install so that when the hard top shows up we are ready to roll. Doesn’t seem to difficult.
One word....FORD.

Has anyone made the switch from a 2dr to a 4 dr to get the soft top? Or is this thread specifically about 4-door's making the switch?

I am on the fence about switching. I guess I'm hoping that switching to a 4dr soft top will help me get my Bronco in the spring of next year as opposed to Summer/Fall with the way these delays are going. With an October 15th reservation, a small dealer with only 16 reservations, and only 5-6 allocations ( that was hard to extract from my dealer) I'm not sure it will matter. I don't really want to make compromises but here I am thinking about it.

I finally went soft as well. One thing about the hard top that I never got over is the window cut in the rear area that goes above the top of the door line. Looks off to me. The picture via Bronco nation really shows it. Soft Top has cleaner lines. I should also add leaking concerns. All those panel breaks in the hard top are potential leaks. Soft top is one continuous piece. I heard the Jeep freedom panels leak pretty bad. So yes, maybe soft but I won't leak.

When I saw the 4 door soft top in person I was glad I switched. It looks good to me. I like the option of just being able to open up the top quickly including after working my 13hr shift. I can always get a hard top down the road

I’m thinking about going soft top too. What are the biggest negatives of doing so?
