Hi everyone, I am new to the forum, but have been lurking for a while. I haven't seen this asked, but sorry if it has been. I'm planning to reserve a Bronco this week (I know, I'm a little late to the game) and was wondering if there is a way to identify which dealer would be the best option to order from in my area?
The dealer 5 minutes from my house will take my order, but the charge a REQUIRED $3,500 in dealer add on fees that they are presenting as a "gift" to me; extended warranty, wheel locks, VIN etching, etc...they are saying, "most dealers are just charging over MSRP. We are giving you something!" However it is something they charge for any model, but just seems like a way to get extra $$ and turned me off.
I have an appointment tomorrow to build and reserve at a different dealer, but the sales person said she has 30 orders under her alone. So not optimistic on actually receiving the car any time soon.
I know there's allocation allotments and other factors, but is there a way to determine which dealer would give me the best chance to get the Bronco sooner?
