How Do I Attach Bronco Letters

I decided I wanted to switch out my Big Bend grille for a Black Diamond grille. I purchased grille and letters and not sure how to attach them. Looks like they are melted down to the back by looking at the BB grille.

Appreciate any tips for a guy that isn't experienced with this type of work.

This guy's YouTube channel is a hoot. Some good DIY videos, and then him unfortunately breaking his front differential (I think?) turning his beautiful Bronco to a 2 wheel drive.
