So I vaguely recalled my grandfather having a Bronco when I was really young. I asked my mother about it, and she verified that he had one, which was later passed on to my uncle. We don't have any other details on it, as it was sold long ago and both are now dead.

I got to thinking it might be cool to try and go for a similar look with the 2021 and asked if she might have some photos. She managed to find these two, admittedly blurry, photos from when she was a child.

Looks like Cactus Gray and a white top (if confirmed available) would match this nicely.

Anyone have a guess as to what year Bronco this might have been?

Edit: And of course the photos didn't load. Fixed (I hope). Family rumor is this may have been a 68.

Hey, I’d like to help. But I don’t see any photos.

I see the photos now. Cactus looks like the best choice for color. Looks like this one has Ranger trim(chrome band that follows the belt line) on it. The first year to offer Ranger trim was 1973. So it’s possibly that old. That’s about as much as I can tell, though.

Does anyone know if auxiliary fuel tanks were a year specific option? That would be my next thing to look into.

My '73 Sport had the belt and rocker trim. Mine has an extra reflector below the tail light. Mine has two tanks...

It appears to be a 1969. No separate reflectors below tail lamps and the tail lamp has incorporated back-up lamp lense .
