Hi Folks,

I have been reading bronco6g for a while this is my first post.
So yesterday, while parking in Sport mode (4A) I noticed my Wildtrak is doing some kind of grinding noise when turning steep at slow speed. Putting it back to 2H (with some noise that never happened while shifting), the noise disappear.
I’d like also to mention that I used to drive / park in 4A before and this is the first time it happens.
Anything I should figure out before running to the dealership garage ?

Saw some old posts about kind of similar issue, noting that in this case, my wildtrak is stock.

thx !

My complete guess without hearing the noise...

The wheel speed sensors think you are losing traction so they're sending power to the front wheels in a situation where they shouldn't be. They don't know if you are in a paved parking lot or if you are off-roading, so they're just doing their thing and sending power to the front when they detect wheel slip. That in turn is causing some binding in the powertrain which could be the noise you're hearing.

But again, complete guess without hearing the noise.

I’ve had the same thing, glad I’m not alone. No clue is expected out not.
