This might be a dumb thought but hear me out, I'm sure someone smarter will debunk this thought I have but oh well.
So I placed my order for MY22 like most on October 13th, couple of days later I got a production date and a VIN. From what I have read everyone was kind of blown away by Ford doing a massive production dump with VIN all at the same time. We all know the issues they have had with products etc. MY21 a bunch of people changed as much as possible in order to get their Bronco sooner, did Ford assign VIN's to all of these new orders to stop buyers from changing their orders? To profit as much as possible with higher priced builds or to just normalize the production as much as possible?
