Ford Cargo Mat Blocks Storage Hooks

Took off my front tops today. Love it. But I ordered the rear cargo mat for the 2DR. When I went to store my tops, I couldn't access the rear cargo hooks to attach bottom of top cover. They should have molded in a slit for the hook. The only option is to remove cargo mat or cut slits (which is a NO for me). Gotta think thru the details, folks.

Does the mat not have spots to cut out to notch for the hooks to pass through? The 4 door cargo mat I had bought did - It showed exactly where to cut. I don’t see why this would be an issue?

I used a Dremel tool on my husky mat. But it did at least have the knockouts for the tiedowns. They look factory with using the Dremel tool.

The factory mat has “cutouts”. Do it!

Next someone is going to complain that their dealer cut holes in the cargo mat and now it isn't waterproof
