Factory Soft Top Asking Price?

We have a Trektop arriving soon for our 4 door, so we will likely be selling the factory soft top. This is NOT an attempt to start a soft versus mic discussion or factory versus Bestop, etc. The Bronco has 450 or so miles on it, garaged since it arrived in early December so it's basically a new take-off. I suspect others may be wondering the same. We like the Trektop design and have enough FordPass points to cover it, there is nothing about the factory top that is causing us to make the switch. If we did have all the extra points the factory top would happily remain.

Since the Trektop is $1800 shipped from Bestop I figured $900 or so for the factory top. Thoughts? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

as someone who would love to buy a soft top from Ford, and would certainly take a like new used top...

I think you could get more. A lot of people want the 2nd station that ford top has and bestop does not.

That is a fair price. I think it may be a bit low. All depends on the demand right now (winter, few hard tops out there, etc).

My personal pricing used/like new is 1/2 the price of new. So if it is a $1,800 top $900 is the used price I would look for and myself offer. That is unless it is a super rare thing and the market demand is saying higher.

Again just my .02 and that is a sell it fast or now price. You could ask more but also have a harder or longer time selling.

Also for shipping look at greyhound buss lines. You will be hard pressed to find cheaper shipping (you have to go to a bus stop to drop off and pick up).

I think the tops will be much more than $1800. But I guess that's the problem. we don't know how much they're going to be.

Thanks folks. Think I'll ask $1100 and be happy close to that. I'm in the Charlotte, NC metro area so it should go quick when posted. I'll do a comparison of both after spending some time with the Trektop. Honestly the factory top is more than suffice.

Not yet, I was waiting until I had the new top installed, which I did this weekend. I'm about to post it for sale, $1,100. It also includes all the necessary mounting hardware . I'm just outside Charlotte, NC, 28037.

I have a buyer that messaged me about it first, they pick it up in the morning. Thank you for your interest, I expect others that switched to the Trektop will be posting theirs for sale. Hope you find one nearby.
