So I've been holding out on some kind of official foot pack from Thule or Yakima so that I can use my existing crossbars/accessories that I've accumulated over the years.
Upon researching the Xposed Racks a bit, I realized their mounts look like this:
Why can't somebody (maybe even Xposed Racks) just make a version of this that is "rounder" like a similar diameter to a factory roof rail on most cars so that we can all mount standard Thule Rapid Crossroads feet or Yakima Timberline feet on the Bronco? Essentially just a 4 pack of "mini roof rails" so we can all use normal crossbars/accessories. Hell, with these you could even have the quick turn bolts like they make for the rear section of the hard top so you can quickly take your own rack setup on and off depending on what you want the roof situation to be. I will gladly pay for four pieces of overpriced metal if somebody can fab these up... seems like it would be relatively easy to do and I would have to think there is a huge market for something like it.
