Dual Tops - what exactly is it?

When you switch them out...do the exterior black trim pieces on the C pillar for the soft top stay on and can you keep the top soft top bracket on and literally just remove the soft top from the side brackets in the cargo area and switch?

Correct. It’s just 6 bolts where the soft top bolts onto the rear cargo bracket. All brackets and such can stay on

Thank you so much, Brian! In watching the Ford video, they state that the "soft top version" of the black exterior trim piece has to be removed before installing the hard top.

Just double checking...that is not necessary?

I can’t speak for all tops. My Rally Top goes right over it - it doesn’t even get close. But if you did have to swap that out for a different hard top it’s really easy to get at.
