Door Sill Protection

I had the Ford/Putco sill plates in my previous Bronco and they looked great (at first) and I loved the graphics on it but they scratched like crazy. I do want it so that the paint does not get completely destroyed but I also want it aesthetically pleasing with subtle Bronco fun. I was looking at the type @ticklemybronco is selling because of the graphics, has anyone tried these?

I put clear ladder or deck tape on over the new sill paint. Still good, 3 years later. It was meant to be temporary until I found something else. I put cheap stickers with a CF pattern on it three years ago and they still look 100% brand new.
