So as BigMeats said, no retransmission needed. You can regear to 4.7 or 5.18 to keep it real close to stock. The biggest thing, as everyone keeps stating, is what are your long term plans for it.What's your budget? You have a rear locker? What do you want to do with your Bronco?
If all it will ever see is super light four wheeling and freeway, get the smallest lift that will fit the tires and regear based on where you want to keep your normal RPM range.
If you think the fourwheeling will get into the moderate to more difficult range ever then that front end needs replaced. The steering needs replaced. You need to research a good offroading lift. etc. etc...
There are a ton of good posts hear and elsewhere. Save money, research ask questions like these and then once you know what you want to do. BUILD
