Current finance rates question, upgrade question

High 700s - dealer gave me 7.5.% for 66 months. I’ll have it paid off by December. So I didn’t care. Didn’t shop around.

I just jumped up to the raptor 2 days ago. With an average of 862/900 on fico auto 8 the lowest I could get was 4.89. I wouldn't be surprised if you can get a bit lower with navy federal and a 850+ score. Some people can get various member loyalty bonuses as well which is worth checking on and can potentially hell you dip below 4.5. I don't believe you're getting better than that right now.

I ended up settling for a 5.25 dealer option just for the convenience.

For what it's worth, I'm at about 8.3% on a 84 month loan originated in October 2024. FICO wasn't great, only about 725 or so.

I kind of figured I'd probably refinance once interest rates came down a bit. Trump is clearly helping this with our current fiscal trajectory!
