I could not latch my front hooks if the 2 middle hooks aren’t latched.

Can someone grab a screenshot of where they're seeing the frame of the soft top lift in the video, and not just the fabric itself? If that middle latch isn't locked in, that'll 100% cause the issue they had.
may about 8:50 per my previous response but here’s a screenshot

Wow, that definitely looks like the hook being disconnected. Faith in soft top sturdiness, restored

Lite Brite said in the other thread they checked the mid latch and it was properly latched. Not the issue.
I’ve definitely thought mine were clicked in place at first, then try lifting it to find it’s not fully clicked. They very well could’ve checked after their drive and found it clicked down if the wind lifted it up enough to have it drop down with force and lock into place after the fact.

First time I put my top down I admit I didnt click it back completely when closing it. It still latched but it definitely did not click in the center.

The fabric can still be folded to expose the interior to a degree regardless but it would take some weird/extreme forces to do it naturally (i.e. - severe winds at weird angles).

MY wrangler soft top does something similar. When I am closing it (from being fully back) I purposefully have to line up the hooks at that spot and make sure they are latched......

There are a few videos on how to lock the top in place and the person in the video is clearly not doing it properly.

The hooks are adjustable. I adjusted mine to get the top to have the amount of tension I like. It took me a few minutes with a torx driver and flipping it open and closed to make sure the latches were working properly.

Video demonstrates an issue with his soft top not latching into place on the sides. I'm wondering how many people might unknowingly not have their soft top secured properly, allowing the sides to come up.

I've already taken mine to Ford they fixed it.. But having the problem again...
