Do members have more info and pictures on the cargo shelf that allows you to load more gear in the back section. How does it attach, how easily is it removed, how much weight will it support. Does it have a lip on it so when you flip the back seats down, the gear is staying in place while strapped down. The Bronco's storage capacity is limiting. For camping I want to be able to cram as much gear in the 4 Door bronco using all the storage space.

I’m hoping this will be one of those 200 accessories but I fear it’s one of those we will have to get aftermarket wise...

I can’t recall how it attaches but it’s MOLLE on the sides and the back adjacent to the seat back. So if you fold the seats it’ll just be a MOLLE cage there.

Some that I have seen for the Wrangler bolt to the same bolts for the hardtop. I find these very interesting as well and plan to use one because I plan to sleep in my Bronco when I camp.

unless you do not attach the molle panel to the rear of the back seats and just keep the molles on the sides. I like the way you can use those molles panels to maximize economy of storage.

I like the idea of having that shelf to semi-lock stuff into when the top is down

Right, assuming it works that way. I’m just going off what was installed in the Overlander concept when I saw it in Tennessee.

To the OP and anybody else listening, there’s at least a dozen or so companies making storage solutions for Jeeps, which are bound to make it to the Bronco at some point.

There is no room on the 2dr behind the top of the rear seats for a shelf. Maybe if folded or better if the rear seats are removed. Not much room back there either way. Wish I could find the pictures from a month or so ago that someone had of the room and measurement behind the rear seats, which was very little. This kinda shows it though:

Not the pic I was looking for, but you can see in this pic with the seats up, you wouldn't have much of a shelf to work with. Seats down or out though and it's doable.

I never thought of that. I can't sleep inside it anyways. Star gazing

I was thinking more of a way to keep your things secure and less about the self aspect. I made one out of wood for my jeep which had less room then that.
