Can i fish something thru these holes?

Was wondering if someone knows if the top holes and the 2 bottom holes can be used to fish a strap through to create my own molle storage.

In don't see why not if there's a straight shot in there. But I wouldn't want the strap putting too much force on the top plastic piece.

It seems from the illustrations that you could get something -- strap from top through the bottom slot.
