My wife and I decided to go with the bushwhacker fender flares. Used Ford points to pay fór just about all of it. I'm really liking them. Haven't decided yet on if I should pot the rear door pieces on and I'm kind of liking it without them. Also added 1.20" spacers to kick the wheels and tires out just past the flares. Let me know what you think!

Flares look good but don't understand putting bigger ones on only to add spacers to keep the poke but to each their own.

Here's to your spouse, I was wondering too how many passes before you finally stopped.

I agree with you about the spacers but my wife wanted them sticking out more. As far as how many times I went around, she kept recording so I kept going lol.

Are the two attachment screws on the rear door fake? I really like the look of these flares. Thanks for sharing the walk-around video.

I'm sorry. What screws are you referring to? I do t have anything on the rear doors. My wife and I decided not to put those pieces on. We like how it looks better without them and if I chose to take off the doors they will still got in the bags that came with the bronco. Those 2 pieces are ultimately just 3m taped on. Hope that answers your question.

I noticed you hadn't installed the door pieces but from the Bushwacker website and other pictures there appear to be two screws on each part that attaches to the door. I see the instructions call for double-sided tape so I was curious how the 'fake' screws are detailed.

Oh I have no idea. I never even attempted to put those on. I just assumed it was just the tape.

I just bought these flares also and after looking at how they install I am wondering about possibly putting some PPF where they will touch the body. They have the rubber seal where they touch the body panels, but I worry if dirt gets trapped in there over time it may rub the paint pretty good if I ever decide to swap them out again.

I've installed more sets of these than I can count. Not on Broncos but every other truck imaginable. They will leave a "rub mark" where that rubber seal is over time, guaranteed. And they will trap dirt, leaves, road salt, etc. I did one truck, and the guy came back in two days because one of them needed "adjusted" and when I removed it, there were leaves inside the flare already. Granted the front fenders are aluminum but the rears are steel, so if you live in a northern climate be prepared for rust to set in. I have even had customers buy these to cover up the rust that is already there to they could sell the truck.

I would say be very careful when purchasing these. They do have some drawbacks.

To me these are a much better option. Made by Bushwacker as well.

Installing my color matched bushwackers today. So seems like they are popping out on the top. They are not fitting snug and a bit of space remains. Was wondering if anyone else had the same problem and what’s the solution round it or if I m doing something wrong. The installation manual isn’t that informative and there’s no customer service to call. Please take a look at pics.
