We have a leased Ford Escape that we're returning this week to a Ford dealer other than the one I reserved the Bronco through. Returning the car you get banged a $300-something "return fee" that can be rolled into the purchase or lease of another Ford.

I called my reservation dealer to see if they could take the lease back and roll that money into the Bronco. Among other reasons (no order yet, no VIN to apply it to...), one reason was that the Bronco "is still over a year out."

I was still banking on a summer/fall delivery. Does anyone know any different?

There is no way of telling. Too many variables
Reservation time stamp
Supplier issues
Covid
Hell freezing over

Deliveries are “supposed to start this coming summer
Does that mean June or Sept? No one knows
Not even dealers

Something would have to got massively wrong to push it another year. Sounds like the dealer is playing the Ford "...by October" game....meaning "a year out" = too many months for them to care.

Why does anyone still expect the average salesman to know more than we do? Stop listening to the non Grainger types and relax. Any official announcement will be posted here, rapidly run to 50 pages and be a sticky before your salesman will be informed.

I think it will be a minimum of 6-7 months until they start to arrive. That’s a best case scenario with no more delays. If you’re ordering any late availability items I would guess 8-12 months from now.
