I was looking into the bronco grille letter lighting watching some videos on YouTube is there any way to wire these up so that they come on when the headlights turn on and turn off when the headlights turn off every video I watched on YouTube ether has them wired to a aux switch or on all the time

Yes. I use the Mabett Headlight adapter. Works great. You can choose between headlight, side markers or turn signals. Obviously you may not want the turn signals.

I have mine set to the headlights.

Hmmmm...interesting, I want to do the same thing.

I asked that question on another thread and one of the grille light distributors said you couldn't tie them into the headlights, would start throwing error codes or something.

What grille lights are you running that are tied to the headlights ? Putco ?

Mabett isn't known for their lights/wiring to be too stellar !

I have the Putco ones and had to do several things to make this work

1. There isn't enough power coming from the Headlight harnesses for this to work so a relay is needed.
2. The white halo lights only come on at night when the button is set to auto, which is selected every time the vehicle is started. When this is wired in, I need to turn on the drls manually each time I start the vehicle for the letters to light up. At night, when the headlights are on, all lights are on.

Got all my wiring harnesses and parts from SPVparts, here's a link to the "Parking Light Tap" harness, and here is the relay

My lights are from BLUECHARM (which is just one of those random Chinese resellers on Amazon). If you didn't know these are not for the Raptor.

The harness they have is essentially a box with a series of relays.

No codes, works flawlessly so far.
