Blindspot Minitor Chime

Would anyone else like to see the blind spot monitor chime and not just flash when putting on the directional with a car detected in the blind spot? All of my prior vehicles with blind spot monitoring do this. The cross traffic alert already does it, so curious to know why Toyota excluded it, unless its buried as a configuration somewhere. I looked and can't find it. Seems like it would be an easy software update.

I was also disappointed to see this not included, especially with the limited visibility out the back window having a rooftop tent installed.

It's been a long standing topic with all Toyotas, not just the Tacoma. It probably isn't something that will be updated any time soon.

Yeah, my Honda gives a "don't even think about it" noise whenever the blind spot is active and the turn signal is on. Wish my truck did as well.
