Badlands rock rail

Was checkin out yesterday a badlands with sasquatch package here.
The rockrail is really close to the car. I looked under it and it seemed to me that you could pull it out a bit. You loose yp the bolts and slide it out a bit. I saw some sliding option there. Or am I totally wrong here.
It was a new 2022 model.

There is no sliding out option.

I already tried sliding for mud flaps and the will only move about 1/4".
