Automatic transmission manual shifting in D

It's not just for towing or hauling heavy, it's advantageous for normal driving, for the engaged driver who likes to pay attention. It improves FE & overall driveability. I use it all the time in my F150, even when not towing or hauling. Big time whiff on Fords part for not tuning it as such.

Having come from an F250 that did the shift limit, I like the Bronco auto manual way better. Of course I’m not pulling 12,000 lbs behind my Bronco now.
