I have researched ways to store the hardtop. I have read a lot of ways here on the forum. For months I have been contemplating a solution but I haven't decided on anything yet. I don't really need to pull it right off from the vehicle, we can lift it off and put it on the garage floor but right now it is taking up too much garage floor real-estate. I just saw these locking pulley things kind of like what is in a window blind. Has anyone used these for anything and what is your experience?

I don't have a current pic, but I installed 4 eye-bolts in the garage ceiling and use these tension straps to do the lifting. I can raise it up high enough to get the hood of the Bronco under it and still park in the garage. There's more efficient options with small winches and things like that but this is easy enough. I can take my top off in 15 minutes and have it stored up and out of the way.

It seems to be a similar concept to what I'm doing, but somehow PP rope just feels inferior to a nice nylon strap for me. No judgment just giving my personal thought.
