I love the look of the Ram air hood.
I know things cost what they do, not trying to be that negative guy and hope it isn't taken that way.
But I expected the price to be a bit less than that, based on Fiberglass Aftermarket hoods I have bought in the past from Cervini, etc.

Not saying I won't get it one day. It's perfect and an outstanding look. Just not sure if that fits the budget anytime soon.

Despite my price comment, Very nice work on the hood, you guys did an outstanding job capturing a design that works well with the lines and doesn't look like a JC Whitney piece.

Ive never had a fiberglass hood that my body guys didnt have to prep (alot) before paint. The tolerances and finish are top notch and easily worth the cost of admission.

Fully understood. And agreed.
And I'd gladly pay 2X as much for a hood that was literally scuff-n-shoot, bolt right on.
It would pay for itself in labor and block sanding high build primer.
Truthfully I'm jealous that you have not only one, but soon to be 5 of these beauties.

Are there any IRL pictures of the heat extractor hood? If I get the carbon vent version I can avoid buying black vinyl for my hood bump!

Anyone know if there is an aftermarket manufacturer that will make those donut doors that the new Bronco is shown with in their advertisements? I want to purchase some.

dang i hope they reconsider and put sliders or pop outs on the 2 door hard top i would get one in a second because i dont like the turret gunner design of the modular top and the no slider/pop out of the MIC - gonna trap air big time and cause all kinds of baffling sound when front windows are down

The ram air hood looks great. Do you know what its weight is compared to stock? And is it functional to feed air to the filter?

I don't know the weight of the ADV hood but I took of my stock hood today for reasons and put it on the scale. That stock hood is ridiculously light at 26 lbs (and that included the sound deadening).

On the website, says comes standard semi-gloss white… I’ll admit I’m new to the mods game, can that be immediately painted, or does it need additional sanding/prep/etc. to get it ready to be painted?

And does anyone know a ballpark range to get a hood painted to match factory color (probably velocity blue if it matters). Does the paint job add $500 or $1k?

I can typically do a hood for $500. Lots of places would be nearer the $1k mark, and more of them even higher.
A lot of it depends on the color, the paint brand, and the condition of the hood once the box is opened.

Ordered both front fenders and Rear quarters and they should be here before Christmas and that is almost exactly when my bronco will arrive, love the Bronco R look.
