I feel like Ford should hire Zoltar for their PR communications.

So, I think I figured a rough time frame when my Bronco will be built. I’m just posting this so that if anyone else is comfortable with assumptions and wants a ballpark date for when they’ll get their Bronco, they can do the math themselves.

Someone on this forum created a sequential list of the Bronco reservations list (last updated Sept 8th when there were 150,000 reservations’). If I were on that list of 3973 reservations, I’d be 454. That would place me 11.42% from the top of the list. If we assume that the list of 3973 reservations are representative of all 150,000 reservations that there were at the time, that means I was the 17,130th person to make a reservation.

Next, the Wayne, MI plant where the Bronco is going to be made alongside Rangers can make 5300 units per week (per Wikipedia). It made 90,000 Rangers in 2019 (1730/wk). If we assume that they will build the same number of Rangers in 2021 that they built in 2019, then they will have capacity to make 3570 Broncos a week (assuming they run at full capacity). So, 17,130/3570=4.8. My Bronco will be made late in the 4th week of production.

It’s been leaked that production will start in “March”. No specific day. I’m assuming March 14th. I’m assuming it’ll be a slow ramp up for the first two weeks and for all intents and purposes the production run starts in earnest April 1st.

So if the assumptions that I made here hold true (and there are admittedly a lot of assumptions) and Ford builds the Broncos in the order they received the reservations, that would mean my Bronco will be built late in the first week of May, delivery likely the second week in May.
I can't speak to the exact date Ford will deliver the first units or how many they will produce per week, but I think you are off on your place in line.

Applying your percentile in the Bronco6G reservation list to the total reservations is probably not accurate. This forum is full of people that have been following the Bronco for quite some time and were ready to reserve the first night. The chart tracking the reservations by date shows a very large amount of reservations in the first 2 days.

While I think the reservations outside of this group are also highly skewed towards the reveal date, I think you are much higher than 11% from the top of the list.

I hear they're making broncos for current bmw owners last. ;)

Considering this is an enthusiast forum, I'd say you're probably even earlier in the reservation game when compared to the general public.

They are almost 2 months late for the online build/configurator which can be published easily, I could be wrong but I don't think any delivery will be made before Oct or Nov 2021.
