This is the Thule Foothill on my old Bronco. Only takes up half the roof (I also use a cargo basket because 2 door). And it 110Lbs or so. Ladder stores inside Bronco.
I would NOT use the factory rack...

Nice set up. What kind of roof rack do you have on the 2 door?

I went with Valkyrie Offroad. I helped them develop the 2 door one. It was... A nightmare lol
But it's a good option.
I added 1/8" adhesive foam to where it contacts the roof (which is a must have... And they don't supply it) and I've had it LOADED up while offroading. No issues with it or the roof 👍🏻

I have the factory rack and went with the Thule Kukenam… technically it’s 9# over the rack limit but so far so good!
it was on sale online for 1700 but just before pulling the trigger I found it barely used on fb market for $1000!
just got home from a week on the road camping throughout Utah.. got into some good trails too and it was super secure

Awesome setup, Joy. We hope you had a wonderful time camping and that you're enjoying your Bronco!

Just installed an Ikamper X-Cover 2.0. 150lbs and sleeps 4 tightly, 3 comfortably. Not as quick as a clamshell to open/close but is easily done in about 2 minutes.

I love this. I just grabbed an IKamper X-Cover myself and put it on my 4Runner because it has a factory rack. I'm looking at racks for my 2-door Bronco and seeing Badass Tents or Prinsu as the only real options. Can I ask what brand rack you are using and if you have any issue with it?

Thanks,
