I am interested, but have questions... Mainly one question, how easy or not is it to access the cargo storage pocket I wonder?

I do like this option though! And the price is right, with the potential to be better if there's a sale/promotion, but already a great deal!

Apologies for the delay, but mother's day...

Okay, this is an easy install. Unfortunately it came damaged from shipping, but I've already reached out to Mabett and they're making it right.

Okay, now to everyone's most pressing question, including mine...

Does the shelf/table completely remove? YES!

Does this allow access to the jack? Kind of...

Now, I know that won't satisfy many of you. For me, I plan to tinker with it. I will also make a video to demonstrate how to better access jack and storage. Could the design be improved? Sure.

If you're someone who accesses or uses the storage all the time, you should wait for a redesign.

If you only need to access for when you've got a flat, the rare occasion will already require a lot of work (I've had to change a flat already). And this will only require removal of 5 screws/bolts to gain full access (my theory). Will demonstrate in a video.

Overall, I like it. I'm satisfied. And with the discount/refund for shipping damage, I'm all good. I'm covering the damage with my cargo mat, because it would've gotten scratched anyway.

Not tonight! But will try... I only weigh about 160 though.

But my main plan for it will be to hold the Blackstone 22 inch, which it will do just fine. My tailgate table seemed too small for it.

Center console insert (bought 2 kinds actually), cargo area mat, and rear seat back covers. Rear seat back covers have stayed on. Console inserts were always falling in the console and dumping their contents and the cargo area mat just walked all over the place. Seemed like every time I opened the tailgate I was repositioning it. Finally gave up and bought the Ford mat.

Also, I'll be trying to make the slide-out shelf an actual table with this kit from Amazon. Be pretty helpful camping, at the beach, or as needed with my 3 girls .

I did not stand on it, because the hardtop window didn't allow me to without possibly hurting myself , but I did sit on the shelf while fully extended. I'm about 160lbs and no creaks or issues?

I also pushed down on it fully extended and the Bronco would go down with it (bounce), so I'd say it's pretty sturdy!

5 screws, slide the shelf completely out, and boom, full cargo pocket access. 2 minutes, if that, to access the jack.

If you constantly access the cargo pocket, then, yeah, not sure how it would be addressed. Some locking mechanism and that front half on a hinge?

Haha, I responded from the email I received, from my phone, so did not look at the entire thread. Now that I am home......

OK, I just watched the video. That is not too bad. I have my jumper cables and the tool bag in that area, so it's not an everyday go-into spot. I like the way Mabbet set this up. I guess I will wait to see what MTM does with their solution, though I will say I would rather have a flat surface across than one with high-side panels.

The shelf is fully removable and there are just 5 easy screws to remove... Check out the video I posted a couple of posts up...
