steering column

I just noticed that the driver right vent heats up the steering wheel quite a bit when blasting the heat and the column adhesive seems to have come off or that side is affected by the heat? Left side is nice and tight. A few pictures to see left vs. Right. Is this normal? Thinking of headed to...
