For the last two months I’ve wheeled every weekend and for a solid week during Bronco safari. I live in the middle of some of the best rock crawling trails in the country, from my house I can be on the trail in less than:10 minutes.

Yes, it broke in the video, the driver’s side front tire was the only tire that had any traction, I didn’t know the rear tires were off the ground, had I of known I would’ve had the winch hooked up sooner (the winch was after the tie rod and rack).

So I got the old rack installed, I could steer, but NO power steering. I think maybe it’s due to the broken clock spring. I did get the Bronco off the trail and to my house. 4L is no fun without power steering and don’t even think about the front locker!!

He didn’t want the square back look, he wanted the look of the roll bar.

Third trip out with the new ford performance steering rack installed and it broke along with a tie rod. My Bronco is still on the trail and there is no towing it out. Can I reinstall the old rack without changing the tuning for the rack or do I need to figure out how to tune it back to the old...

It get used off road in the rocks, if it were just driven on the road I would imagine it would be fine.

Impressive, I’ve got 60k and have replaced the front differential bolts (second time they’ve broke) tonight, yesterday a broken sway bar link and in the past week 2 CVs (had fun at Bronco safari).

First post, first question (been following in the background for a couple years). My new rack will be at my house tomorrow, I have the Pro-Cal. When I got the tuning from the Ford site, I don’t remember seeing a calibration for the new steering. Do I need to look again?
