  1. Auxiliary rear light hookup and blind spot monitoring

Just to be clear, the extra lights I'm adding will be in addition to the stock tail lights and will function the same as the stock tail lights. From what I can find out the upfitter switches aren't even powered. They need to be connected to a power source under the hood before they will do anything.
  2. Auxiliary rear light hookup and blind spot monitoring

2026 Heritage. I have done a spare tire delete (well not deleted, just mounted inside the vehicle). The tire is strapped to right side roll bar. It just fits, pushed up firmly against the rear seat. The rear windows clears it by 1/8", then only barely touches the tire when the rear door is...
  3. Bronco factory hitch wiring not working

So I have towed a small utility trailer a few times now and have working lights. Connecting the trailer turns off blind spot monitoring. I assume this is because the system would have no idea of the overall length of the combination or the sensors could not function with a trailer blocking them...
  4. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

OK, passive entry has been defeated. Rear door is super easy: remove access panel and unplug connector. Front doors are more difficult. Bit of work to get the handles out, more work to put them back. I added green masking tape around the body of the door plug. This creates a stopper so the...
  5. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

I believe in fixing the problem whenever possible. The Bronco fobs are too large and clumsy as they are. No way I want to add extra bulk.
  6. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

Only one question left. I'm planning to remove the door panels to spray the door seams with waxoil to reduce corrosion. Are the sensor connectors easily reachable from inside the door? No point removing the handles if I can remove the connectors when the door panels are off.
  7. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

Excellent, thanks very much for all the help. Forums are awesome for technical stuff!
  8. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

Anyone have a picture of the door wiring showing which connector to unhook?
  9. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

So disabling the capacitive touch sensors would effectively block the key fob sensing? What actually tells the windows to retract the half inch during door opening?
  10. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

@Ducati1098 did you get a chance to look at the key sensing? Is there separate wiring for the key detection that could be unplugged without setting any codes?
  11. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

The driver's door only setting sounds good but is a bit odd. If I want to open the rear door (or any other non drivers door), I must use the door panel unlock button after opening the drivers door. The odd part is that now all the locks unlock AND all the windows go down a half inch waiting for...
  12. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

The only setting I could find was the "press unlock and lock on the fob together" to change it to drivers door only unlocking. This set correctly but did not change the "all doors" operation of keyless unlocking. Please tell me how to get to the setting you are referring to.
  13. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

OK, but how would you set this? Unplug all door handles except for the driver's?
  14. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

I'll wait on the unhooking until you confirm the code aspect and/or the forscan action. Thanks for offering to investigate.
  15. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

I like your creative thinking. While waiting for the Bronco to arrive, I had a few different rental cars. They would turns the lights on and unlock the doors when I walked by mowing the lawn.
  16. Key fob configuration and key fob sensing

Is there any way to defeat keyless entry? I only want locking/unlocking from the physical fob buttons and/or the physical buttons on the door panel. I realize that keyless requires touching the door handle to work. I don't like the fact that someone else could enter the vehicle while I'm 3 feet...
  17. Audio source help needed

Thanks, the USB port showed up fine (on the source list). The physical ports don't show up very well hidden down in the console. Had to get a flash light to see them and then the relection from the touch screen showed the myriad of fingerprints........it would be nice to have some physical...
  18. Audio source help needed

26 Heritage, stock equipment. Audio source does not list AUX or USB. WTF? I'm looking for the simplest way to play music WITHOUT needing a phone or wireless device. Any ideas?
  19. Bronco factory hitch wiring not working

Would be nice but that is actual customer service. No such thing exists where I'm from (Canada).
