I can't imagine it stiffens anything with the fat rubber factory gasket. It's shiny and has a drain plug and a dipstick so you can inspect for moisture ingress without dumping fluid. The 8mm hex and oring makes it conviient to do on the trail if you felt compelled to. I have it bc it's shiny.

just make sure you have a torque wrench to properly re-install everything. caliper torque isn't as sensitive as head bolts or anything wild, but needs to be properly tight

Stock tires must be wildly soft. I'm running 35 12.5 20 Ridge Grapplers (F rated) at 25psi, and they are still kinda stiff. They have very slight deflection at the pavement, and corner great. The alignment shop pumped them to 40, and it was AWFUL.
