  1. Route suggestions for Western Colorado

OnX probably has these routes as well. My route basically has you taking rimrocker until you can cut south and then take last dollar road into telluride rather than the highway. Rimrocker is pretty boring from where I showed the cutoff into Montrose. Just a dirt road, however there is a skills...
  2. Route suggestions for Western Colorado

Imogene IMO is the best trail in Ouray, especially if you're not trying to do anything super intense. You should not miss Imogene. If you're taking rimrocker from moab and want to catch Imogene, then you're planned route is pretty good. I would recommend subscribing to the trails offroad app...
  3. SW Colorado, Brappy, and the top of the world.

Glad you made it out before the fires! I was just planning on running Imogene soon but I guess I'll have to wait.
  4. Hearing Protection Recommendations (when driving top off)

If you have other use cases for spending the money like motorcycles or frequent air travel I would highly recommend biting the bullet and getting custom earplugs fit by an audiologist. Combo the plugs with some Shokz bone conducting headphones and you have an excellent solution for noise and...
  5. Vibration over 40mph

22 Badlands Sasquatch 54k miles I have the same vibration at the same speed. Got a tire rotation and wheel balance that didn't fix anything. Tech said the wheels were all in balance. I've done some offroading so it's possible I've banged some stuff around underneath. Next step was to get the...
  6. Rattle sound on startup

I have the same sound with my 2.7. I only hear it if I start it in the garage.
  7. Hyundai Boulder Concept debuts as Bronco fighter (not April Fool's joke)

I absolutely love my Hyundai Ioniq 5. If Hyundai can make a serious off-roader that's EV or EREV like the scout, I would seriously consider it. My Rubicon 4xe was amazing. Never had any issues with it but I did not trust jeep to support it long-term so I moved on. Top off, doors off, rock...
  8. Ouray trip suggestions

Ouray is beautiful in August. No reason to suffer in Moab. OP, be aware of "monsoon season" in the mountains. That time of year there is a near daily storm in the afternoon. Try to be below treeline before it hits. Lightning is a real risk at elevation. Research this weather phenomenon and plan...
  9. Ouray trip suggestions

    Moab in August is brutal.
  10. Ouray trip suggestions

There are plenty of threads on Ouray here worth checking out. Imogene Pass IMO should be top of list. It's incredible. Yankee Boy basin is worth some exploring. Maggies has great burgers.
  11. JL Audio C1-400X $69 at Crutchfield

Are these plug and play with the standard sound system as well?
  12. Tips? N Arizona, NM, CO road trip

OP is visiting in late April. Even with a terrible snow year, it's highly unlikely those passes are open.
  13. Tips? N Arizona, NM, CO road trip

Here are some western Colorado tips: Stop at Black Canyon National Park near Montrose. It's a very short detour and if you're on a time crunch you can be in and out in a couple hours. It's never busy. Hike the short trail at the end of the park if you have time. Get a beer and a chicken...
  14. Bronco E-Bike?

Well this Bronco e-bike is worth about $200 so anything you pay $1,300 for from a reputable brand would be much much better which was my point. In the video Seth compares it to the cheapest e-bike he could get on Amazon and it was outperformed handily.
  15. Bronco E-Bike?

I urge you to research actual good ebikes. You can get a much much better ebike for $1300, let alone $2000.
  16. Bronco E-Bike?

Watch an actual review of the ebike from a real bicycle reviewer. It should be considered no more than a fashion accessory on wheels. I wouldn't pay more than $300 for one and I would only use it to ride to the bar and back.
  17. Rear Passenger Shock Mount Damage – 40+ MPH Vibration – Advice?

Thanks I originally looked for mud stuck in the wheels but forgot about weights. I'll check the weights. Let's say it is something that easy, any reason to try or not to try to hammer it back? It's definitely a bit bent/twisted.
  18. Rear Passenger Shock Mount Damage – 40+ MPH Vibration – Advice?

Hey folks, A rock snuck up on me while doing some light rock crawling in my new-to-me 22 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch (stock) and it looks like it caught the rear passenger shock mount pretty good. I’m now getting a light vibration starting around 40+ mph. I haven’t driven it any faster than that...
  19. 4-door rear under roll bar Molle panel recommendation

What did you think of the roll bar triple molle? Any guess on how much weight you'd trust on it?
