Completely agree. Iāve already had one window motor replaced. It quit during the first freezing rain spell. The way itās made, just have a window frame so it doesnāt have to cycle every time the door is opened.
I regret that someone on the design team thought having the windows move down and up as a condition to a successful door cycle, was a good idea. This small regret intensifies during spells of frozen precipitation.
Probably not considered ātoughā trails but my Badlands got me over Engineer pass, Hurricane pass and up to Hurricane peak, Black Bear, Imogene, Ophir, to name a few. 33ās didnāt miss a beat and had only one scrape coming off black bear. Probably pilot error. Had a hoot and have been really...
High pitch squeak like you described. Sort of like styrofoam. I have the soft top. Seat back up or down didnāt make a difference. Didnāt do it from the factory. Just started after about 10k miles.
I noticed the hinge point on the backs of the back seat were squeaking for me. I have not lubricated them yet to see if thatās my squeak but it sure is the same sound. Iām on a trip but will try this when I get back.
couldnāt be happier with the standard Badlands. Function and form is perfect for my use (daily driver). I just prefer this look to the 35ās as well. Capability is more than I will need. Silly, but just love this thing lol
Haha, I totally get it. I periodically check out the front window for a look. I guess after so much time, we just have to prove to ourselves itās real š
Thanks!! Iām not sure. I quit counting the days lol. They actually let me drive it as it was straight off the transport. It had 88 miles. It wasnāt too bad but you could definitely tell itād been sitting around a bit. All the plastic on the seats was about torn off. Wadded up paper towels in the...
Well. This happened today. Best experience ever at my local Ford dealer. Like the Z4 roadster, itās impossible to drive without smiling. Couldnāt be happier with my choices. If there is anyone left from this week, itās gotta be getting close.
