Is there a way to tell how much warranty my wife's Bronco has? She is at least the 2nd owner. Bought the car from a Toyota dealership here in the Dallas area. 2023 with 39,xxx miles currently.
I actually got one from Extreme Terrain on Monday and it arrived today. Undamaged as well, which was great since RTR is absolutely dogshit at packaging an $800 item. I did buy the extra insurance with ET though, just in case. No bullshit, that single strip of packing paper is the only one in the...
We had water get inside ours too after a heavy rain. Only ours leaked inside the cabin right as we moved the vehicle. Also had some small leaking at all four of the locks on the side gull window locks.
Opened and closed the gull windows and locked them down and those leaks stopped.
As for the...
RTR's website has been "sold out" for months. I'm finally wanting to snag one of these but there are different options available based on whether you have the camera or not, etc. Anyone know if any vendors actually have them/have purchased on very recently?
Bought the Black Diamond one from weneedstinkingbadges and the quality of it is top tier. Would definitely recommend. I will edit this post with a photo tomorrow.
So now Form headlights are having issues.
Bro, I just want to buy headlights and have them work with peace of mind. Seems like aftermarket head and tail lights are a pain in the ass. I was just about to pull the trigger on these over the Mori's with my Christmas money.
FWIW, I was able to get Ford to identify the entire harness separate from the carrier assembly so you can spend less than $900.
The part number is M2DZ*14A318*D for 21-24 Broncos.
If you have the non-coaxial setup, you cannot swap for the co-ax. It only works with the 360* camera package.
Installed the TOR HD carrier this week and unfortunately, our Bronco is one of the ones with the non-coax cable, so the included easy extension is a nonstarter.
Am forced to cut and re-wire the harness with wire extensions.
I would rather not do this. Does anyone know if you can just buy the...
Thanks for the updates. What a shit show. I really want taillights for the Bronco but not going to pull the trigger until Mori or Oracle definitively solves their issue.
Hope the buyer knows that the warranty is non-transferrable. Really sucks that this is such an issue. There's like what, 6 or 7 people here that have had this issue, but Oracle insists it's isolated. How can we trust that it's isolated when evidence looks otherwise, and we can't even really...
Yeah, but I doubt Oracle/Morimoto will invest the $ to reverse engineer how Form Lighting does this. If I was an electrician I would just buy both sets and wire some Morimoto's to the Form spec. Just really not a fan of the look of the Form offering.
Did you ever resolve this issue? Our Bronco is having this issue. The entire bottom center section of the rear view mirror is peeling up. Dealership wants $200 for a replacement since we're just out of warranty, but I'm considering an aftermarket replacement.
Since the FORscan changes would be eliminating the alarm that the resistors are designed to prevent from tripping, I would assume you'd be fine. Just have to periodically check that all of your banks of LEDs are still functioning since you would no longer have a fault indicator.
Would be awesome, but getting a re-design, even a small update like that is rare. Once they offer a part and make their big time brand new sales, it's often not worth their time to alter something for the trickle of sales over the rest of the life of the vehicle model. I'd give my left nut for a...
