Ha ha - more confusion for the OP...but, if/when you choose painted hardtop, also make sure you measuring the mounting point on the specific Bronco you are looking at. If the slot is less than 1" deep....you lose some roof rack options (like TrailRax).
On the top slots, in the rear of the hard top (where the roof rack would clamp), slide in a simple ruler. (If you do not have a ruler, use a piece of cardboard, and mark the edge - then measure that.). If your depth is over 1" then the TrailRax can be mounted properly. If just over 0.5" then...

Thank you! That is my primary concern with the Gobi....the lack of "flexibility" with mounting solutions. With my 2 previous adventure vehicles, I loved the modularity of the extruded aluminum channels, and being able to space them just about anywhere I went.
I am looking into the...
Ends up, my sexy looking painted hardtop ended up being an early fault in my planned build. I really wanted, and purchased the @TrailRax - only to find out that I have the painted top that will not accept their mounting system.....so, now I am looking for my next option.
I am not going to...
Question to those who may know and help. I want to put an ARB under my hood (25 Badlands SAS), but I am also considering putting airbags in the rear for towing. Can I plumb the airbags off the ARB manifold?
