I currently have the 93 tune in my 2.3l and absolutely love it. I have access to ethanol somewhat near me but maybe to the extent that it might be convenient every other fill up. Would it be worth it to upgrade if running e50 only half the time and 93 the rest? Any downside to running the tune...
Good point. I have been working on the car most of the weekend to put on a new roof rack and ski box so have been opening and closing the doors constantly without tuning the car on. Just left her on for 30min and then off for 30 and now holding steady at 12.34v. Apart for that its a daily driver...
Ok. Just tested the battery cold and getting only 11.52v. I would think that would qualify as dead, right? However she started right up with no issue. Now running she is at 13.9v almost immediately on the multimeter.
Yes. Headlights are plugged back in and returned to stock. I just can't imagine it's caused by anything other than the fog light install as the waring light came on the minute after I installed them and hasn't gone off since.
So I installed some lumen8 fog lights last weekend. Pretty easy stuff, (just a simple 3 way wiring harness that slots in between the headlight connection). Lights work as they should without issue but shortly after the install I got a "Charging System Service now" warning. Went back and checked...
Found this dangling in the driver foot well (2024 2.3l manual) to the left of the dead pedal and clutch. Wires are all in tack but the plastic fins in the picture look like they were attached somewhere and broke off. I was going to just zip tie it out of the way but I noticed that the white part...
Ok scratch that. I really though that was the solution, (it really was catching on the cable) but I drove her to work today and the clutch pedal was just as stiff as ever. I think I was just wanting it to be fixed so bad that I was imagining it was better.
For comparison I have a manual M3 that...
SOLVED! Thank you all for a) convincing me that it likely wasn't something with the lines or master cylinder and b) to get a flashlight and look more closely in the footwell. Turns out the damn cable for the hood release was actually caught under the upper part of the clutch mechanism! I have...
So, my 2024 Badland 2.3l manual is about a year old and has 12,000 miles on it. I have the Steeda clutch spring and B&M short throw shift all of which I love. Everything has been working flawlessly until about a week ago when I jumped in the car, and the clutch was suddenly...just...heavier...
