  1. Bronco Desert Rising Edition Debut (Updated w/ Package Details)

I believe the term "design" has been grossly misused. The "design" of this Bronco remains unchanged. Its merely the cosmetics that have changed.
  2. Two Door Tuesday Lets See Them Two Doors

Thanks for the 2 doors with tube doors pictures. I'm adding.them to my wish list.
  3. Two Door Tuesday Lets See Them Two Doors

I' m looking for some pictures of 2 doors with tube doors
  4. Are you a top tier gasoline user?

You are most welcome. Sharing information is one of the great things about the 6g forum. That and some of the humor. I have learned a lot of useful "stuff" on here. No costco anywhere near here, but several top tier suppliers, and several nons. Strangely, they all charge about the same price, so...
  5. Are you a top tier gasoline user?

There really should not be any debate on whether or not you use Top tier fuels. Top tier is a measurable standard which must be met, and routinely tested for a gasoline company to claim they are top tier and post that claim on their pumps. Thats probably while all the top tier providers are the...
  6. Are you a top tier gasoline user?

If top tier is not routinely available it might be prudent to ocassionally add a bottle of techron additive
  7. Are you a top tier gasoline user?

According to one of the videos, all Costco octanes are top tier rated and consistently exceed top tier specifications, and because of the volume they sell, always have fresh, clean gas provided by their own suppliers which further allows them to maintain better quality control. and I believe...
  8. Are you a top tier gasoline user?

I suspect your sarcasm will be thoroughly addressed. If nothing else, maybe others will at least see the value of a "good" gasoline for their modern turbocharged engines, whichever one you choose. I did not offer an opinion on which gasoline or octane to choose, but will be following this...
  9. Are you a top tier gasoline user?

I had a vague ideo of what a top tier gasoline was, but came across a couple of useful articles that gave me a better explanation. This first article is a general discussion of top tier gasolines and their importance. This second article talks specifically about Ford ecoboost engines with...
  10. Arm rest for left elbow

That's why you roll the window down. 😉
  11. No V-6 Two Doors??

Many years ago, (1968), I was looking to buy a 4wd vehicle. Wanted one with short wheel base, so trucks were out. Narrowed my choice down to jeep or bronco, not exactly a lot to choose from. I chose the bronco because it had considerably more cargo space for camping equipment and other...
  12. No V-6 Two Doors??

eww, microwave popcorn - how disgusting.
  13. viair products spring sale

FYI: Viair is right now advertising a spring sale of "up to 30% off".
  14. Air compressor recommendation

I purchased a viair model EVC88P7. Perhaps a little slow to air up, but I am typically a slow, patient person , so works for me. It has auto pressure shut-off altough doesn't seem very accurate. One feature that I like is that it gets power via my 7 prong trailer connector.
  15. Want to play in the dunes?

Been there, done that, several times about 1970. 68 Bronco wagon, 289 column shift. Didn't "air down", but let the air out of the tires until squishy. Play a couple of hours, then pump them up using a spark plug pump. Just want to test gen6 bronco on some sand closer to home for now. Totally...
  16. Want to play in the dunes?

I am looking for a copilot or second (or more) vehicle for a day trip from Silver City, NM to Hot Wells Dunes near Bowie, AZ to try out my 23 Bandlands in a sand environment. Any day of the week is ok. No prejudice against Jeeps or an other 4 wheelers.
  17. Where did you mount your GMRS Antenna?

I use this one also. Very happy with it. Neat installation, normally out of sight blocked by the A pillar, but I can visually check if it is going to get tangled with branches. Very good reception. I do a weekly check-in with a group of SW USA GMRS users who operate a repeater network...
  18. Dealer painted Fender before purchase

I don't believe you have much of an argument for recompense here. The emblem was part of the original build and was neither designed nor intended to be removed, hence you modified it at your own risk.
  19. I saw the infamous pink Jeeps.

Broken Arrow trail, Sedona, was my first offroad drive in my 23 Badlands, Sasquatch, 2 door. All previous 4wd offroading was in stock gen1 Broncos. Broken Arrow is touted to be a moderately difficult drive. Seemed quite easy to me, though would have been considerably more difficult in my gen1...
