I’ve had my Bronco since June and I’m having similar issues on my floor board

Yesterday, Ford installed the modular bumper to my Bronco from the plastic base bumper. I might be crazy, but should there be this much of a gap from the bumper and painted trim? The passenger side appears to be almost 1/2” bigger gap compared to driver’s side. Thoughts?
