  1. Let's Talk Outdoor Camping Tips, Tricks, Hacks

Having flashbacks to my dirtbag days… tell me you did NOT cut off half of your toothbrush handle then drill holes in the remaining structure to reduce weight! Well, I knew somebody like that; check out ultralight jerk on Reddit for a few laughs!
  2. First month of owning, modding and wheeling my Bronco

You certainly did more than simple and I mean that in a good way. Excellent well thought out arguments, pros & cons, etc... Outstanding. Just out of curiostiy, if you please, what other (if any...) bumpers did you strongly consider? Would ask the same questiion re skids and winch (I think we...

  4. HELP! Moab school was cancelled!

With the Lolo Pass to play around on? absolutely loved the parts I could handle in the F150 days and would go back in an instant to try the harder parts now; that was fun! (but good luck on hooking up otherwise!)
  5. GOAT FABRICATION 15% OFF FALL SALE!

Just a quick shout out for GOAT - I just installed their 2 door rails - After a few telephone calls to answer my picky questions, I pulled the trigger, took about three weeks to come (in pristine condition...) and about three minutes to install; well, maybe thirty minutes... lol... eight bolts...

Thanks douglasjwood! Nothing wrong with making things work for you regardless of what you spend. Hope I'm not coming across as more-money-than-sense. This build is a treat, to be sure. I won't rush in to any winch decisions until I feel VERY comfortable with everything; like you say, there are...
  7. Looking for Inspiring Spots in CO for Wheeling, Camping, Touring

You mentioned you like dispersed camping. Me too... If you do hit the Telluride area, you might want to check out Alta Lakes. It's just south of Telluride; which, is pretty sweet. If you decide on another area of CO, that I know, post where you are going and I'll share what I can "dispersed" wise.

Thanks MNBigfoot - I have seen your various posts over time and caught the MN connection; hi neighbor!. Good to know there is at least the gas tank skid. The overlapping, same-same-but-different Ford sites/apps/etc confuse me but I shall keep on the look out for those coupons/codes! How have you...

Thanks - Been scouring this and every other forum I know of. I appreciate any 'try a search first' sentiment; just learning how to use various features of a new site is, say, challenging for me! On that, I was thinking I should post each project separately ? I see continual build threads...? How...

  18. Introduction

Hello - Greetings from Minnesota. Just picked up a new Bronco recently and will be doing some building so I am sure there will be many questions, but wanted to get started and say hi first! I've got a set of RB's on the way... I can't really tell by your pic, but, what rails/steps do you have? Did the RB flaps install (with rails) ok? I will ask OP, but it looks like they have the Bronco rock rails, but, before I let it go - Have you been out, maybe rock crawling a bit, where you...
