My SA replied today. Basically reiterated what Ducati1098 said - that the FDRS analysis indicated a run test was unnecessary and consequently, the oil change was not required. Also (as Ducati1098 stated) he believes Ford will update my VIN's recall list sometime this week.

Thanks for that - I appreciate it! Sounds like a possible comm gap between the SA and tech, as evidently, trying to blow it up wasn't required. Unsurprising since there's clearly a comm gap between the service schedulers and advisors.
