  1. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

And boom, the recall! I was right.
  2. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

Or when Ford eventually has a SB or recall on 2021-2022 Broncos.
  3. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

I am not bitching and I had never complained once about my Bronco since I drove it off of the dealer lot in March of 2022. I loved the Bronco, it didn't corner quite as well as my old FJ Trail Teams, but it had great pickup, awesome technology, heated seats and steering wheel, and was fun to...
  4. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

I have been told the effected Broncos are 2021-2022, not all years and I was told that Ford is aware there is an issue. Just putting it out there for when other effected Broncos burn to the ground.
  5. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

Unless I somehow can get a Ford GT in the future or my old professor's Mustang that was #2 off the assembly line, no. :) I have been told Ford is aware of the issue. They may not have tracked the exact VIN's affected in the 2021-2022 range, but Ford knows there is a problem. No service...
  6. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

The fire started in the passenger side of the engine compartment and went back. Once it breached the firewall, it went rather quickly.
  7. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

Due to the other 2021-2022 Broncos that have burned to the ground due to fuel injector isses Occam's Razor would tend to be a safe bet.
  8. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

No engine or electical mods. Stock stereo. Only mods were the saddle bags and bar covers in the rear, handles directly above the door frame, and the retractible trunk cover. Only electrical device was an Escort Redline and my iphone plugged into a USB-C port (I did grab both while exiting the...
  9. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

There are multiple reports of fuel injector related fires with the 2021-2022 full sized Broncos not just the sports or escape suvs. It was very disconcerting to be sure.
  10. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

Considering the multiple reports of other 2021-2022 Broncos with fuel injector issues that burn them to the ground, I would think that more likely. The "thud" felt like it emanated in the engine and the force felt parallel to the ground. It was not an upward force and it wasn't a pothole.
  11. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

Sadly, I am about 35 years past the age that people do things like that... Sound system was stock and I would prefer to save my hearing since skeet shooting tends to take a toll over time.
  12. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

In my experience, oil on the exhaust would have smoked a heck of lot more and the front skid plate would tend to block most debris, but there wasn't debris. Since there are a number of other 2021-2022 Broncos with fuel injector related fires that burnt to the ground, I would be going with...
  13. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

I had a CTS-V and the LS engine is great. Were I to swap engines a hemi or an LS would be my preference...
  14. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

Lol, I appreciate that, but I am not most people. No mods on the engine or electrical. Not likely electrical based on what mutliple fire fighters told me. Whatever happened happened in the engine compartment. There are other 2021-2022 Broncos with the 2.7L that have burnt to the ground due...
  15. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

Well, I have had a forensic engineer who happens to have two burnt to the ground 2021-2022 Broncos with fuel injector issues reach out to me. The construction zone is actually walled off by concrete walls and they close the lane closest to the wall there isn't actually construction on either...
  16. My ‘22 Wildtrak caught fire and burned to the ground

I was driving on the interstate in a construction zone where I-271 went down to a single lane in my 2022 4dr Bronco Wildtrak they had somewhere over 70k miles. I am the original owner. I was going approx 40mph and felt/heard a strange thud coming from the passenger side front of the car, but...
