  1. What Made You Fall in Love With Off-Roading?

My parents loved exploring the backroads and mild trails of Colorado in their '68 Econoline van (shockingly capable off road) looking for good camping spots from as far back as I can remember. After an early stint when I was 16 in an inherited Ford LTD, I upgraded to an '85 Civic wagon with 4x4...
  2. How Often Are You Guys Actually Hitting the Trails?

When I lived in Colorado (pre Bronco) every weekend since the places to wheel legally were everywhere. Here in SW PA, in the 18 months I've had my Bronco I've been a handful of times (including one trip back to Colorado and Moab) because anywhere to legally wheel near me are all a few hours...
  3. Rear locker or both?

Came to post something similar, there was a week last winter where my unique driveway ("only" 830 feet ) was only passable using both lockers. The front also came in handy in Colorado and Moab last year, I likely didn't "need" it, but it was a handy cheat code on a few obstacles where...
  4. Schofield Pass & Devil’s Punchbowl - 2026 Bronco OBX 2” lift and 35” Tires

Nice write up! Schofield pass was an annual trip me and some friends used to make back in the 90's, me in my mostly stock '85 Toyota and my buddy in his Ranger. We'd camp above Crystal for 2 days so we had time for Lead King Basin before tackling the pass, then camp a third night above Crested...
  5. Virginia WTB Pair of Factory 4" Speaker Pods

If the others fall through, I also have a set taking up space in the garage.
  6. If You Could Go Back Before Buying Your Bronco, What Would You Do Differently?

I mean, I LOVE my 23 OBX SAS Lux, most fun vehicle I've ever had. However, had I done my research a bit more, I'd have held out for a Heritage Limited. Still keeping an eye out for a good deal on one
  7. Took My Friend’s Rig Off-Road - Have You Wheeled in Anything Other Than a Bronco?

A bit of a list of my previous off roaders, some lifted, some stock, all were a blast off road in their own way but the Bronco leaves them all in the dust. 85 Toyota pickup 85 Suzuki Samurai 88 Toyota 4-runner 90 Toyota Pickup 99 Jeep Cherokee 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee 17...
  8. What’s the best trip you’ve taken in your Bronco so far?

Last summer my son and I drove from SW PA to the Moab Off-Roadeo with stops including Georgetown CO for a few days of trails, a few days in Moab exploring, then Santa Fe and Albuquerque before heading back home. We took two weeks and had a blast, one last journey before he graduates HS and...
  9. Help me decide on an OffRoadeo location?

We did Moab last year and it was awesome, turned it into a epic roadtrip for my son and I before he graduates this spring. Stayed a couple days in Colorado hitting some trails, spent a few days in Moab, then a couple of days in SantaFe before heading back. I can't speak to other locations, but...

Not mine, but something I found and will likely print tomorrow for my workbench. Ford Bronco Magnetic Dashboard System w/ Quatch - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld
  11. Hello from Denver!

Welcome! Spent the 90's about an hour west of Denver exploring offroad trails in my Toyotas and was back last summer on our way to Moab for the OffRoadeo (HIGHLY recommended, it was a blast) and hit a few of my old favorite spots.
  12. Who hasn't had any cracks with their hardtops?

2023 OBX SAS 4Dr, 20k miles and babied in a garage since new, no cracks.
  13. Mall Crawler Truth

I was also there in the late 90s and early 2000s, small world. I was back there with my son on our way to the Moab OffRoadeo last summer and hit a few old favorite trails (Waldorf wagon trail, Saxon mountain, Cascade creek, etc) and if I needed a permit, I didn't know about it
  14. Mall Crawler Truth

Hey, another former Evergreen resident LOL! I lived in and around the Western slope of CO for years but the cost of living drove me away. However, I never ran out of cool places to offroad, the state is a goldmine (ha) of wheeling trails.
  15. Dealership taking forever to close out recall work, is this normal?

Small update.. I called the dealer again to see if they've actually submitted them and I'm just waiting on Ford. Nope, they told me neither recall has been done because they're waiting on parts. Explained (again) both are done, I watched the guy replace the camera and I can see the shock recall...
  16. Dealership taking forever to close out recall work, is this normal?

Thanks all, this is my first Ford experience (been mostly a Toyota and Jeep guy previously) so I figured I'd ask. And like I said, both recalls are done and to my satisfaction, so I'll be patient and wait for corporate to catch up :)
  17. Dealership taking forever to close out recall work, is this normal?

So, back in early October I had my local dealer (not calling them out) and their mobile service van come to inspect my rear shocks and replace the backup camera on my 2023 OBX Sas. I hung out and chatted with the tech while he replaced the camera and inspected the shocks, he took pictures of...
  18. Camera, shock recall - lesson learned & reminder of why I avoid dealerships

I had my local dealership's mobile service guy out weeks ago to do the recalls for me, it took him a couple of hours and a youtube video to figure out how to remove the camera, but he got it done and snapped pictures of my shocks. Now, 4 weeks later I've heard nothing about the shocks, and the...
  19. Colorado FS: Bronco Raptor complete Front Bumper

 Where was this when I drove through Colorado back in June on my way to Moab? I'd have taken it in a second.
