What did you do for the skid plate?

Does this bolt in two locations, both accessible by removing the interior door panel? I've glued a rigid piece of plastic to the bow in the rubber and that's working until I replace the part.

I really like being able to add the panel on to the tube doors vs having to reinstall the doors for protection or sense of security. This would allow me to keep doors removed more often... so I'd probably have to get the door storage cart too!

Has anyone changed this part? It looks like it bolts in. If so, how do you get to them? It looks more buried than just removing the interior door panel.
