  1. Advice Needed on Bronco Purchase: Badlands 7MT or Stroppe 2.7L?

I haven’t driven the 2.3 MT. I have a 2.7 auto Sasquatch. So I can’t give you firsthand how I solved the tradeoff problem. But I’ll offer my observations after 6 pages of responses. In your opening post it was clear you were not tied to a manual for this Bronco purchase. As you said, you’ve got...
  2. Parking in Seattle

I doubt anyone is going to vandalize your vehicle to make a political statement, but they may break in to see if you have cool stuff to steal. My neighbor parks his Bronco Raptor outside. No trouble that I've seen in the year plus he's had it. Another neighbor has a 2-door Black Diamond, has...
  3. Heading out to some heavier trails, wondering about tire compressors.

I assume you've seen the ARB compressor manifold kit. Very small external tank, short hose, remote chuck. It still gets warm, but probably not as hot as yours. Also buffers the pressure demand, smoothing out compressor motor on/off a bit.
  4. Heading out to some heavier trails, wondering about tire compressors.

I had a bunch of Ford Points from buying a Bronco, and lucked into a short term sale on ARB dual compressor setup from the Ford Performance site. I was really struggling to justify full price before that sale + points opportunity came up. In retrospect, though, having used the ARB setup for over...
  5. Washington 4-Door Tube Step Bars w/ mounting bolts $100

Located in Seattle. These were original equipment on my 2024 Outer Banks Sasquatch. All original mounting hardware included (12 bolts). These are clean, straight, in good shape. They have about 10k miles on them before I replaced them with aftermarket items, and the undersides have some gravel...
  6. Pictures of your rocksliders that can be used as step too.

I chose Metal-tech RRR sliders for my 4-dr OBX Sasquatch. Picked them up in Newberg, OR and just installed them on Saturday. Got them a little dirty on Sunday. My big uncoordinated dog (the black/tan one, Walter) approves of them as a step. The lab, Brody, doesn’t need any steps. She can leap...
  7. OBX side steps for Badlands

I assume so. The factory rails come in two flavors: 2-door and 4-door. That must mean all submodels that can take the factory rails have the same mount points on the body, behind the pinch weld. And the OBX running boards use those same mount points. I just took my OBX 4-dr running boards off...
  8. Hello from Washington... State

I did Off-Roadeo last December in Nevada, and had a blast. Drove down, made a little adventure out of it. Moab looks fun. I passed by another Bronco up in the NFS roads north of Greenwater a couple weeks ago, who recommend checking out the Pacific NW Bronco group on FB. Not being much of a FB...

  11. Making my own retro Bronco script emblem template

Update! I went so far as to make the LH printable template, exactly to specs that I reverse engineered from the digital photo mockups I'd made. Printed it out, did the cutout, taped it up, and was sitting there looking at that precise little hole in the paper when I wondered to myself... How...
  12. Forum etiquette question re vehicle for sale

Done! Here's the new post in "for sale": https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/my-buddy-zack-is-selling-his-dads-1970-bronco-2-door.120149/ Thanks again, folks.
  13. Washington My buddy Zack is selling his dad's 1970 Bronco 2-door

A good friend of mine is selling the 1970 Bronco 2-door that has been in his family for 55 years. He's posted it on Facebook, and I figured I'd see if anyone here might be interested. Try to help a buddy out and maybe help one of you find that perfect new-old ride you've been looking for. ;)...
  14. Forum etiquette question re vehicle for sale

Thanks, everyone, for the feedback. I'll share the link to his FB Marketplace post in the Vehicles For Sale forum. For anyone here maybe interested, it's a 1970 2-dr with fewer than 21k miles. Green exterior, white/ivory interior. Very nice from what I've seen of it, and very original. Asking...
  15. Forum etiquette question re vehicle for sale

Hi, folks. I have a good friend who is selling his 1970 Bronco. This is the only online Bronco group I participate in, and if there is a way that I can share info about the vehicle for sale without breaking forum rules, please tell me how. When I went to the Member Marketplace forum, I saw all...
  16. Making my own retro Bronco script emblem template

I don't think there's any one "right" way to do it. You gotta follow a process that YOU think is good and where you're happy with the results. I know myself well enough to know that making my own placement template is the best option for me, plus it'll be kind of fun.. The eyeball test, whether...

  18. Making my own retro Bronco script emblem template

Hiya, folks. I've got a 2024 OBX+Sasquatch 4-door with hard top in Eruption Green, and while I do really like the look of bronze on green, I grew up in the '70s and have fond memories of the raised chrome emblems that used to be common. So I recently got the factory chrome Bronco script...
