word is that they did change the compound. i moved from KO2 to KO3, on a non-SAS badlands, recently and it's a noticeable difference in traction especially in wet conditions. i've been happy with the change.

I also go the broncobikini last year, version 2. It works great but haven't been caught in any hard rain showers yet just light rain. Has worked as advertised. Little to no flapping or wind noise even going down the highway at 75. Would definitely recommend.
If the recall isn't showing up or you don't use the fordpass app, such as me, you can go to the nhtsa website to lookup the recall with your vin or license plate number, although the license plate lookup didn't work for me. Recall search showed i had the recall on my 2023 non sas badlands.
