Mine is also my daily! I was sitting in a restaurant looking at it on the street and said to myself, āthatās way too shinyā. That was the first domino that led to those puddle videos the next weekend.
Itās moved past Snow Season and into Puddle Season in the Willamette Valley (Oregon). Took my ā25 Badlands 2dr 7MT out for some fun - the mud videos donāt look like anything, but the splashing makes for a good video:
Letās see you having some fun!
Update: they āfixedā it⦠and itās still leaking! I have a service appointment next week. Time to place your bets on what excuse theyāll come up with.
I only noticed a leak on one side, but from their previous experience with this issue they said it was most likely both were bad. Once they popped them off they confirmed that was the case. I guess anyone here reading this⦠try to get both handled if you can! Or if youāre in the PNW try to take...
He said they put sudsy water around the trim and then went inside and blasted air all around the seals. One person stood outside to confirm what was going on. In the end though they just removed the entire windows and put down new beading/seal. They said theyāve seen a few from the factory that...
Update: they found leaks in both rear side windows and are replacing the glass and seals under warranty! Iāll post back here if it doesnāt actually work.
Knock on wood it works out for both of us. Iāve responded to Ford here, and have an appointment tonight at the dealership. Iāll report back either way with whatever the result is!
2024 BL 2dr hardtop⦠had it since August, just noticed the same issue last week (itās started really raining in the PNW). Odd that pressure washing never did anything - seems to take a lot of persistent water to make it happen. That doesnāt bode well for when I take it to the dealership...
Interesting⦠do you think it is anything to be concerned about?
Itās seems to be happening when Iām disengaging the clutch! It seems like I could prevent it if I was SUPER slow with my clutch movements⦠so Iām not counting out user error yet.
edit: including video link:
Did you ever hear back about it? Iāve got a 2024 Badlands (7MT) and am getting [what I assume] is the same noise in 4L, only when letting the clutch out.
