I mean all I meant was running the 500w or a 150-200w would yield the same result, wouldn’t it? Thats what I’d think but I’ve never done anything audio before so I’m not sure
the reason I’m against the 5001 is because the RMS is only 150, so I feel like it’d just be overkill, I’d even be fine to just get a 150w amp since thats all it’d take
I just bought a Kicker CompRT 6.75" 4ohm subwoofer for my bronco. I know the RMS is 150 for it and the factory wiring has a 12ga wire so l think thats 200w for the amp. I see most people using the kicker 5001 500w amp but I think thats probably over kill and I’d have to run from the battery...
well my reasoning for wanting the 6.75 is because it fits without doing any modifications, but for the 8” I would have to cut and I don’t really feel confident doing something irreversible yet
From what I’ve seen, the 2023’s have the dummy amp and dummy speaker in the back and I saw a video about it where they used a fusion alp and the 6.75in sub as it all already fit in the factory frame. If I go from no sub to the 6.75in is there really no difference?
Heres the video:
I'm thinking of upgrading the sound system in my 2 door 2023 Black Diamond without B&O and I'm looking at buying the Kicker CompRT 6.75" sub. I saw most people use the ford fusion FP5T-18C808-AB amp, but I can't find any. I was wondering if the HS7T-18T806-AD from a 2017 fusion or the...
