I now have almost 5K miles on my ā24, still does it just like it has since the day I got it. Had dealer drive it and they contacted ford who said compare to like model but no dealer within my area has a MT to compare it to. I came from driving mopar for a really long time, rams and jeeps...
To re align the striker you have to get the screw holes behind the plate to move correct not just shift the plate? Iām assuming loosen then tap with a mallet or hammer?
So youāre not trying to get the outside plate to move cause I can get that to wiggle easy, youāre trying to get the screw holes into the correct spot in the body holes correct?
My rear driver side upper door hinge is rubbing when the door opens all the way. The hinge that stays on the door has rubbed the hinge that stays attached to the body. It seems like on the other rear door the lower hinge limits the door opening before the upper hinge makes contact. Does anyone...
Nice okay I did that on one side but not the other, have you noticed that the clips on the underside sit in different positions as it flexes? Iām 2 minutes from my local dealer, stopped by there while I was out, they are going to replace this one. If it happens again (which Iām sure it will)...
I know I have definitely seen worse on the forum, if its gonna happen to another one which seems like it would, then may not even be worth a trip to the dealer
Mine seems to be doing the same, got some real sun out at the lake not shaded area and I noticed a little gap between cowl and windshield. The 11 clips that are visible when the hood is raised seem so sit further down along the outside edges than they are in the middle, almost like a bowed look...
Alright sweet thanks, from what Iāve seen the OEM skid plate bolts in where that deflector is and if equipped the deflector isnāt there so Iām assuming itās just to deflect stuff away from the tank when it doesnāt have a skid.
If swapping tops between two broncos does the soft top bronco have longer bolts since they have the c pillar trim pre installed, or are they the same length with or without?
Mine is well greased with the globs of grease. Mines quite when being pressed in. Mine has an audible click that only happens at the very top of the release when I come off after Iāve pressed it in more than once. Like a quick out of first, donāt completely take foot off just resting then...
Yeah the dealer inspected, couldnāt tell if it was normal operation because they donāt have another manual transmission to compare it to. Iāve heard of others having the creaking noise
Thatās what I had assumed when I looked at it, is there anyway to adjust the rear quarter panel (the top piece) inward at all? Iām assuming moving it forward isnāt an option and would take that gap toward the door anyway
