My floors are padded already. Did you just slide the kilmatt between the body and the floor? Or do you have one of the hard floors that can be washed out?
@mblur05
Been a while!
I have to report back in and say I am loving the sound. One thing I did was set my fade so that the audio is 60-70% in the rear. This lets me turn the volume up even louder while not knocking myself out. I've adjusted the bass a little bit and it produces a decent...
So far I really like the stinger amplifier. It doesn't get too hot, but with my gains, everything is <30%. Volume is not an issue - at all.
The stinger under seat mount does not fit the SPX1000. If you end up pairing them you have to drill mounting holes through the mount and use the threads...
That is very impressive. I know when I made mine it wasn't optimal. But I had the scrap wood, and didn't have to buy anything. The bass coming from the back is good to my untrained years, and I am happy with it!
@SROC3
Taking the panels off isn't really too hard. Did you cut this to shape and put it on the inside of the panels? (cutting around the clips, etc) ?
Yup, exactly. I did print it with ABS. Not shown (on the back of it) is a frame that holds it into place and gives it extra stability. It's very hot here on and off right now.
If it ends up warping, I will reprint with a material that is more durable for that type of thing. This was...
I calculate mine to 2633. It was still a little off. I put it in at 2600. It was still a little off. I went down another 30, to 2570 and it's almost perfect. I am going to go back to 2580 tonight and I suspect it will be spot on.
Also, I had to tell the AWD to relearn from the central...
I completely took for granted the "tire spec" versus actual life. And Yep. The actual measurement should be around 2633. I'll adjust later. Thanks for that.
No, the speedometer is inaccurate. The setting in the software does not match the calculated tire circumference. Adjusting the value to the correct tire size exacerbated the issue.
I am going to fashion something to cut down road noise on long trips (like a padding or something) but I drive short trips mostly and it doesn't bother me much.
I have a 2022 Sasquatch with 315/70/17 tires on it.
I've noticed that as I increase speed the difference between speedometer and GPS increases.
The speedometer ends up being a couple MPH faster.
I read about this, and I checked my settings for tire size, and i was 2651. According to math, it...
Hello everyone,
It took a while to get to it, and it also took a while to post. But I finally completed my audio upgrade project and I wanted to share the results.
Really appreciate the help from people on these forums. The videos, and just so many helpful resources out there.
This is a...
My plan changed a bit from my original post, but I've purchased everything and waiting to install it.
I went with the Stinger 5 channel amplifier, and Audio Controls LC7i line out converter. I decided to replace the kick panels. So I will be doing all 6 speakers. After watching a video of...
I haven't done it yet, but from the advice of @BroncoByte I am planning on using this fuse tap from under the steering wheel panel.

I haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet. I have been reading and making lists. But then I went out of town for 9 days or so. My reservation with the Kenwood 4" speakers are that they are 50W. The Kicker CS are 75W.
